A tall boy strolled into the cafeteria with a slight limp but a huge grin. As he made it to the ever-stretching line in front of him he grabbed a platter and shook his head, though his grin seemed only to enlarge. He stretched his long neck to see what exactly was in store for lunch. Is that dead or.. did it just move? He twirled his platter and put it on the metal rack in front of him.

Ah, these Americans. They didn't know what was alive or not. He chuckled as he waited patiently for the line to decrease. It took a while, but finally Cain got his lunch. "Thank you, ma'am." He said to the lunch lady as she dumped... whatever that stuff was on his plate. She grunted in surprise but kept on with the next in line. Cain grinned and turned back to the cafeteria and looked around for an empty seat. None in plain view, he began walking a little farther off in search.

Ah, finally. An empty table greeted his brown eyes. He sat down and placed his tray down as well. He picked up his fork and poked at the food. Grimacing, he shrugged and took a big bite. Eh, it wasn't quite as bad as it looked. As he began to eat he looked around the cafeteria. This was his first term here, so he didn't know too many people.

But the ones he did know seemed quite nice. Maybe Americans weren't as bad as they seemed. He shook his head and lowered it, turning his attention back to the food on his plate, uninteresting as it might have been compared to the actual people in the cafeteria. He poked at it with a disgusted but rather jovial look. What a disgusting substance they make us eat here, he thought in good humor, laughing quietly to himself as he forked down another bite. But I must admit, it tastes a lot better than travel food.
